Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Naif, deputy premier and interior minister, has directed all regional governors to facilitate the entry of Turkish companies to the Saudi market.

He asked the governors to strictly follow instructions pertaining to the approval of proposals made by Finance Minister Ibrahim Al-Assaf to enable the Turkish companies to enter into the Saudi market.

Assaf has called for enabling the Turkish companies to come to Saudi Arabia, including the construction giant Kolin, to invest in development projects in the country.

The crown prince said the cooperation with the Turkish companies should be guided by the Kingdom’s foreign investment regulations.

Kolin, which is expected to arrive soon in the Saudi market, has been working in the construction sector for close to 40 years. It has executed housing, infrastructure, contracting, energy, tourism, mining, telecommunications, industrial and agricultural projects in a number of countries.

The company has contributions in military and defense projects and has constructed explosives-resistant buildings.

The Turkish firms are expected to implement mega development projects in the Kingdom including express roads, railways, seaports, rural development, agricultural reforms and construction of dams and bridges.
