Young Footballers Encouraged to Show Off Their Freestyle Skills at FC Dubai

After the success of the Football Center Dubai (FC Dubai) and Street Style Society (S3) freestyle football video, which went viral around the world with over 1 million views online, FC Dubai hopes to continue inspiring young footballers by giving them the opportunity learn freestyle tricks of their own as well as sign up for a new season of coaching sessions.

The video featuring the FC Dubai and French freestyle superstar and World Champion Melody Donchet, showcased a medley of unbelievable football tricks and stunts to gathering crowds on the streets of Deira. As a result of its extraordinary popularity and garnered interest in freestyle football, FC Dubai coaches have chosen to incorporate the expertise into September’s free taster sessions. As well as freestyle football skills, children will be able to take part in a number of games and training sessions, and experience what FC Dubai has to offer this season.

Anouar Idrissi, Managing Director of FC Dubai said: “At FC Dubai we want everyone, whatever age or ability, to enjoy football which is why we are offering free taster sessions for both boys and girls to come and learn lots of new skills in a fun and educational environment.”

“Since the release of our video, in collaboration with S3, we have had lots of enquiries on where children can learn to do freestyle football tricks. This is why we have incorporated it into our free taster sessions – where anyone can have a go! Those who are interested in coming along to our September sessions must sign up via our website.  It’s first come, first served, and we are expecting places to go fast so are urging parents to register quickly so children don’t miss out on the chance to learn some great new skills!”

FC Dubai, which is located just off Sheikh Zayed Road at Exit 43, will be offering four free taster sessions in September to children between 3 and 14 years of age which will take place on 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th September from 9am – 1pm. Children must register for each session.

FC Dubai’s new season of coaching session, which are also available to children aged 3 – 14, will run for 3 terms starting on Thursday 15th September and finishing on 16th June 2017. Those that sign up to FC Dubai’s new season session during the free taster days will receive a free football kit, worth AED 150.

As well as booking FC Dubai’s state-of-the-art football pitches, sports enthusiasts can enjoy anything from football to dodgeball, yoga to Zumba. Those staying active can also gain access to the gym, book children’s parties, as well as join in with dedicated fitness classes.
