The Department of Planning and Development (Trakhees) – the organizational party of the Ports, Customs & Free Zone Corporation has been awarded a Dubai Quality Award (DQA) for its outstanding pursuit of excellence and quality and its commitment towards the Dubai Plan 2021. 

Adnan Al Abbar, CEO of Department of Planning and Development – Trakheesexpressed his happiness for this recognition hailing the efforts of the Department of Economic Development in launching business excellence awards in fulfillment of the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. 

 

“Our leaders’ wise vision has inspired us to adopt a culture of quality in everything we do. This has streamlined our processes and will definitely help in the emirate’s efforts attract more investments. Trakhees founds its strategy on the guidelines of Dubai Plan 2021 and the EFQM Excellence Model. This is what urged us to participate in DQA 2017 as it reflects our commitment towards quality and encourages us tomake further achievements in this regard”.
