Sharjah Oasis Real Estate Development, a rising real estate developer in the region, has set the infrastructure completion date of phase 1 Sharjah Waterfront City to be June 2016. The announcement was made in the occasion of the developer’s participation at the ACRES Middle East Investment Real Estate Exhibition, which takes place from Feb 10th till 13th at the Expo Center Sharjah.

 

The work on this highly anticipated project has been on track, and structured real investment deals are now available to developers, institutional and high net worth individuals. 

 

Hayssam El Masri, president of Sharjah Oasis Real Estate, said: “We are delighted to announce the progress achieved so far on the first phase of Sharjah Waterfront City’s infrastructure. The developer also announced that the construction work for the bridges and internal roads is on its last stage, with an estimated date of completion on Q2 2016. Good part of the green parks however is expected to be complete also by early of Q2 2016.

 

As for electricity, the work includes construction of the two substations 132/33 KVA, supplying and installation of electrical cables, and supplying and Installation of all electrical equipment inside the two substations. Currently, work is progressing as per the approved program and the expected completion date is 30th June 2016.

 

Some of the partners that the developer has been working closely with are WSP Parsons, SCAN Engineering, SEIMENS, SEWA and Darwish Engineering.

 

Mr. George Azi, Managing Director of SCAN Electromechanical Contracting commented on the announcement saying: “We are very excited to be working on one of Sharjah’s most iconic projects. Sharjah Oasis Real Estate Development Company has been a great support in attaining all legal requirements to not halt the work we are doing. Within 6 Months, we are proud to say that we are almost at the final stages of completing the two 132/33 KVA distribution Substations that will supply electricity to the project”.
