Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTNH) President Prince Sultan bin Salman and Eastern Province Gov. Prince Saud bin Naif will jointly sponsor the 3rd Saudi Conventions and Exhibitions Forum (Saudicef), scheduled for Nov. 8-10, 2015, at Sheraton Dammam. The forum will be organized by the Specialist Group-Exicon and supervised by the Saudi Exhibitions and Convention Bureau.

The forum will be joined by a number of government agencies, including the Ministries of Interior, Commerce and Industry, Municipal and Rural Affairs, Finance, SCTNH, the Eastern Province Governorate, the Council of Saudi Chambers, and the Asharqia Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The forum is considered the largest gathering for those engaged in exhibitions and conventions. It aims to showcase and transfer global experiences in the promotion of the exhibit and convention industry and highlight the role of the sector in the development of the economy, in general, and tourism, in particular.

The event is also meant to develop capacities of organizers of exhibitions and conventions in the Kingdom, and increase the volume of investments in exhibition projects.
The forum is the brainchild of the Saudi Exhibitions and Convention Bureau, which came into being following the decision of the Council of Ministers.
