A Saudi team specialized in education and technical training established the first educational platform for 13 million young refugees in Arab countries, Makkah newspaper reported.

The Saudi team leader and supervisor of the project, Zaheer Azhar, explained that the purpose of the platform was to fulfill the need of the human resources development by following an ambitious learning and training strategy focused on both the Arab and Islamic worlds.

“The platform is sponsored by the Arab League Educational Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO). The platform also aims to encourage the sector to form partnerships in order to find new development opportunities capable of providing professional activities and services,” said Azhar.

He emphasized that this new platform is called “ALECSO Educational Platform” and that it will create educational, instructional and training materials, especially for educating children.

“The Saudi team will contribute to building a well prepared digital studio in the headquarters of the organization in Tunisia that will produce the educational and interactive materials as well as scientific lessons in a simple educational language and teaching style,” added Azhar.
