Samsung Electronics Co., the leader in the global TV market, has received recognition for its 2016 SUHD TVs with Quantum dot display from renowned global consumer technology media outlets. The SUHD TVs received praise for stunning picture quality, innovative design and intuitive Smart TV capabilities. The novel SUHD TVs, which were launched in Saudi Arabia September of this year were widely recognized by several international news outlets acknowledged this eccentric device in light of its great features.

‘What Hi Fi’, a website well known for reviewing and awarding the latest televisions after in depth consumer research, recognized Samsung UE49KS8000 as the Product of the Year for 2016 and highlighted it as “a stunning all-round performance from Samsung’s flagship flat screen TV”.

 

Consumentenbond, one of the Netherlands’ top consumer product magazines, awarded the Samsung UN55KS9000 and UN55KS8000 SUHD TVs with Quantum dot display the top prize of “Best Product of 2016.” The outlet honored the two SUHD TVs after testing a total of 177 2016 TV models across manufacturers. In addition to earning the top-five spots in the Consumentenbond TV testing evaluation for 2016, this is the seventh consecutive year that a Samsung TV was awarded with a “Best Product” distinction from the outlet.

 

HD Guru, an American news and reviews website that focuses on televisions, awarded the Samsung UN65KS9800 with a “five out of five” rating, noting, “For anyone looking for the best flat-panel TV money can buy, the UN65KS9800 has to stand as one of the primary considerations.” Of the UN65KS9800’s picture quality performance, HD Guru also shared, “So far, it stands as the best of the 2016 4K Ultra HDTVs we’ve reviewed to date.”

 

HDTV Test, a top UK news and reviews website for televisions, focused on the improved HDR capabilities in the 2016 models. The outlet awarded the Samsung UE65KS9500 the “Best TV for HDR,” as determined in a side-by-side television comparison against other HDR-capable TVs. The UE65KS9500 received the most votes from attendees comparing the devices, as its display was the only one that could highlight details up to 4,000 nits.

 

For the Smart TV functionality, T3, a prestigious global technology media outlet, rated the Samsung UE55KS9000 with a “five out of five” rating. The outlet noted, “The Smart TV platform has had a spruce-up this year and there’s now a more sensible system of launching apps and other features along the bottom of the screen.” Of the UE55KS9000’s design quality, T3 also highlighted, “There’s a lot to admire about the design and we loved spending time with it.”
