For the first time, Riyadh, the Saudi capital is going to embrace the 10thedition of Saudi Arabia’s Exclusive International Design Trade Exhibition after it had been held in Jeddah for nine successive years. The Exhibition has the interest of global, regional and national Furniture and textile manufacturers, as well as Saudi international companies.

 

The Exhibition is an effective business platform for business cooperation, network and exchanging experiences within the framework of supporting aspirations of the Saudi Market and in consistency of the Saudi Vision 2030. The 10thedition will be held, for the first time in Riyadh at Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center from 4 - 6 February 2019 with the participation of 10 countries with more than 150 brands of the greatest brands around the world.

 

Studies indicate that the Saudi Market is facing higher competition in Furniture and Design field. The kingdom is expected to take over 12% of the total furniture trade of a $100-billion projected valuein the Middle Eastern Market by 2022 under the Saudi Vision 2030, which will increase the housing units offered and in turn the increase of the demand for furniture, interior design, and lighting and its requirements.

 

 Shereen Karkadan, the Exhibition Manager, expressed her hope for translating this year’s raised experiences and ideas into establishing branches for these companies within the Kingdom, given the availability of skilled labor, the Kingdom’s distinguished location and access to the required raw materials at competitive rates.

 

She added, “Opportunities of gathering in one place such a unique mix of international companies specialized in lighting, furniture, design materials and services, and home design is a suitable business platformfor creating an investment climate contributing to the support and building of several fields based on the exhibition and its message.
 

   Many countries are participating in the exhibition such as Portugal, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Egypt and the UAE, India, Poland, Slovenia, Ghana, Hong Kong, China and Jordan as well as Saudi companies. Such mix which will create a new concept for these industries, reflecting on the enrichment and enhancement of the cultural diversity, taking advantage of commercial and industrial opportunities, exchanging experiences among interior designers and entrepreneurs and conducting business deals, as well as introducing the latest and most important advancements of the furniture and design world.
 

The exhibition's Sections include areas for interior designers, architectswhich is visited annually by a great number of interested peopleincluding entrepreneurs in the fields of lighting, furniture, design materials and services, and home design in the Middle East and the world, annually visit the exhibition.
