R Hotels supports Emirates Walk for Autism 2018

More than 150 participants from seven hotels took part in the annual event

In line with its aim of strengthening its corporate social responsibility efforts, R Hotels took part in the 10th edition of Emirates Walk for Autism as the event’s official hotel sponsor.

More than 150 participants from seven hotels – Ramada Hotel & Suites Ajman, Ramada Beach Hotel Ajman, Wyndham Garden Ajman Corniche, Ramada Downtown Dubai, Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham JBR, ibis Styles Jumeira Dubai, and The Retreat Palm Dubai MGallery by Sofitel – joined the annual event held at Riverland, Dubai Parks and Resorts. R Hotels supplied the official shirts for the participants, gave away free hotel stay and dining vouchers, and organised yoga and zumba lessons for the participants.

Dr Nahida Nasseri, founder of Emirates Walk for Autism, affirmed: “On behalf of our team, we thank R Hotels for reaching out to us to help promote awareness on Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The number of organisations joining our cause continues to grow, and we remain optimistic that together, we can build an emphatic and well-informed public, and address the needs of children with autism.”

In partnership with Emirates Red Crescent and in keeping with the vision of Year of Zayed, Emirates Walk for Autism 2018 seeks to raise autism awareness, connect families who are faced with the same challenges, and help them find assistance from various institutions which specialise on ASD.
