A German national, Hans Schiller takes control of Hilton Capital Grand Abu Dhabi as
General Manager.
Hans has more than 26 years hospitality experience, traversing the Pan Arab region,
including UAE, Qatar, Egypt, Nigeria and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
After his repeated outstanding success as Cluster General Manager of Hilton Abu Dhabi
and Hilton Al Ain, Hans focus will continue on guest engagement, hotel standards &
overall guest experience Hilton Capital Grand.

After achieving two degrees in hospitality, Hans began his journey to the hotel industry
in 1989. He graduated from the Dr. Speiser Hotel Management School and followed it
with a Kitchen Apprentice Degree in Culinary Skills.

Hans joined Hilton family 2008 as Director of Operations for Hilton Alexandria Green
Plaza in Egypt. He achieved Africa’s Leading Business Hotel Award for Hilton Abuja in
Nigeria right after his joining in 2012.

His career had taken him to another level of success when he became responsible for
Doubletree by Hilton Riyadh – Al Muroj Business Gate and Hilton Garden Inn Riyadh
Olaya as Cluster General Manager 2014.

During this role, he has contributed to those properties with recognition of numerous
awards. In 2016, Hans took over the Doubletree Hotel by Hilton Dhahran to his portfolio.
Following his stint in Saudi Arabia Hans moved to UAE as Cluster General Manager for
Hilton Abu Dhabi & Hilton Al Ain.

Hans holds a strong leadership and operational capability in the hospitality World. He
was the official host for 24th World Economic Forum in 2014 in Transcorp Hilton Abuja
catering for world leaders, diplomats, and distinguished officials.
As a family man, Hans enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons.  A passionate
foodie Hans enjoys different cuisines. His favorite sport is Golf.

No matter what you do, do always with passion & attitude, is the motto that Hans
lives by and encourages his team to do so it. And it’s this philosophy that now positions
him perfectly to take the lead at Hilton Capital Grand Abu Dhabi leading the team to
success in 2019 and onwards.
