Rotana Hotel Management has appointed Timur Ilgaz as the Cluster General Manager for Arjaan Dubai Media City and Centro Barsha in Dubai effective Sunday 2nd February 2020.

Timur Ilgaz has been associated with Rotana for over 13 years. He has more than 35 years of experience in the hospitality industry where he worked previously in different countries including Turkey, Canada, Czech Republic, and Kazakhstan. Ilgaz has managed and lead The Cove Rotana Resort, Al Ghurair Rayhaan and Arjaan by Rotana, pre-opening and operation of Amwaj Rotana in JBR and the successful renovation project of Jumeirah Rotana in Dubai. In his new position, Ilgaz will oversee the two properties, focusing on commercial growth and strategic directions in conjunction with the Rotana brand’s strategy.

 

Holding a Business Administration degree from Anatolian University, Turkey. Timur is an energetic, self-motivated all-rounder with substantial experience in hotel management in the worldwide recognized five-star properties and deluxe International chains. His warm personality helps him to create a quick start and fast run opportunity with an open-door policy.

 

 

Timur strongly believes in achieving business results through customer focus, dedication, positive approach and quality. He specializes in city, leisure and resort hotel management and openings and have extensive experience in management in UAE, Czech Rep, Canada, Kazakhstan and Turkey.
