Naya's new menu celebrates authentic North Indian street cuisine

Naya restaurant, the authentic North Indian restaurant in Jumeirah Beach Hotel launches a new menu as it enters it's second year of business.

After a successful first year of bringing North Indian delicacies to Dubai, satisfying cravings for curries and engaging with customers, Naya, which means ‘new’ in Hindi is adding menu items that UAE residents want more of, but with the restaurant and Head Chef Pravish Shetty’s signature touch, of course.

The new dishes are the result of the culinary team’s eagerness to offer diners what they want, whilst keeping true to Naya’s roots. From getting to know local patrons to one-off visitors, the Naya team diligently listened to their feedback and then put their culinary skills to the test in the kitchen. The result, more vegetarian dishes to please the Indian expat clientele, and a mix of flavours and ingredients to appease Dubai’s diverse and international clientele.

Known for taking typical North Indian dishes passed down from family recipes, but then adding a personal touch, like marinating lamb chops overnight before cooking, using freshly ground spices combined with modern cooking techniques, head chef Pravish Shetty has a passion for the traditional craft of cooking.

Highlights of the new MENU include:

“Getting to meet with the customers over the past year and listen to their feedback has been not only a pleasure, but great for me as a chef to continue to grow and challenge myself. I enjoy sharing my culinary heritage with others and want to be able to share traditional Indian delicacies that suits all diners tastes,” said Naya head Chef, Pravish Shetty.

Naya's new dishes are on the restaurant’s regular a la carte menu, which can be enjoyed for dinner daily and for lunch on the weekends.
