Etihad Etisalat Mobily has assigned leadership positions to dynamic Saudi nationals as part of company's efforts to support the deployment of key national talent in leadership positions and for them to be effectively contributing to the development of the company's business strategy.

 

Faiez Awadh, Chief Executive of Human Resource in Mobily said “empowering the outstanding Saudi staff in leadership positions of Mobily is one of the strategic objectives that has helped the company reach its goals; this goes to prove the importance of competent Saudi leadership in the success of Mobily as a company and our reliance on them to help achieve growth and maintain our leadership position among local and regional companies in the telecommunications sector.”

 

Further, in this regard, Mobily has announced that Ahmed Omar Baaboud will take up the position of Executive General Manager of Organization Development in the company. Ahmed will play an important role in the organizational development for Mobily in addition to the manpower planning contributing to development of optimal organizational structure of the company for achieving business objectives. Baaboud have extensive experience in many well-known companies in KSA such as Saudi Aramco and Maaden company.

 

Mobily also appointed Marwan Abdullah Fatani as Executive General Manager Performance and Rewards; he will work towards helping assess the performance of the company and developing catalysts that contribute to the general performance. Marwan has been a strong contributor to development of Mobily for a long time and had a strong influence in the success. Other than that, he has worked with many large companies such as Aramco Gulf Operations among others.

 

Finally, Mobily appointed Thamer bin Nasser AlFaris as General Manager of retails sales; he will work towards managing all Mobily sales branches of the company, subsidiaries and partners around the kingdom. Al Faris has a wealth of experience in a number of major Saudi banks, such as the Arab Bank, Al Rajhi Bank, Samba Bank, SABB bank and Alinma Bank. He holds a bachelor's degree in law from King Saud University.
