The Arabian Petroleum Supply Company (APSCO), marketer of the world’s famous engine oil Mobil 1, announced that it has signed an agreement with the Al Ettifaq Football Club to sponsor this football team for the next five seasons.

The agreement establishes that APSCO’s brand image will prominently be displayed on the team’s apparel and on billboards and other signage at the Club’s facilities.

The partnership is Mobil 1’s third shirt sponsorship deal, alongside with Al-Etihad and Al-Hilal sport clubs in the Saudi Football League.

Mohammed Islam, marketing manager of APSCO, remarked: “We are delighted to add Al Ettifaq to our football sponsorships in Saudi Arabia. It represents a further step in APSCO’s involvement and sponsorship initiatives in Saudi sports, particularly football, and will help enhance the Company’s local visibility.”

He said “it is also serves as an ideal platform for reaching out to the Saudi community through sports.”

Meanwhile, Al Ettifaq F.C Chairman Khaled Al Debel said: “We are thrilled to welcome Mobil 1 as our club sponsor for the next 5 years. We’re really looking forward to working with them during what we are confident will be a successful season for the club.”

APSCO hopes that its contributions, through this sponsorship and in conjunction with Al Ettifaq, will help optimize the Club’s facilities and lead the team towards further successes and victories.
