Millennium Atria Business Bay, a deluxe serviced residence complex located in Business Bay, hosted a blood donation drive at their hotel. The campaign was initiated for its employees and in-house guests who got a chance to do their bit for the community.

A total of 80 employees & guests participated and donated blood that will be added to Dubai Blood Donation Center’s blood bank. As per DHA, each person can donate up to 450 ml or ‘one unit of blood’, and one whole unit of blood can be used to aid 3-4 patients in need.

Upon hosting and participating in this blood donation drive Ziad El Hawi, Hotel Manager at Millennium Atria Business Bay said, “It gives us immense happiness to have collaborated with Dubai Blood Donation Center and contributed to this meaningful cause. Through this humanitarian act we intend to do out part in saving lives of the needy patients.” 

“Millennium Atria Business Bay is committed to ‘make a difference’ not only in the hospitality industry, but also within the society, and through this blood donation camp, we intend to do just that. We are empathetic towards the society and will do the best we can to make it a better place,” he added further.

The Blood Donation Drive was carried out in association with Dubai Blood Donation Center, DHA. The center is committed to providing a safe and sufficient supply of blood to all DHA hospitals & private hospitals in Dubai.
