Majid Al Futtaim Cinemas, the dedicated cinema arm of Majid Al Futtaim, the leading shopping mall, communities, retail and leisure pioneer across the Middle East, Africa and Asia celebrated the opening of its newest multiplex in Riyadh on 30 October 2019. The grand opening event for the impressive new entertainment complex was attended by H.E Turki Abdullah Al-Shabanah, Saudi Minister of Media, General Commission for Audiovisual Media (GCAM) representatives, Quality of Life Programme representatives, Majid Al Futtaim Group CEO Alain Bejjani and Majid Al Futtaim Properties CEO Ahmed Ismail.

VOX Cinemas Riyadh Front features 18 screens and 1,427 seats, bringing the exhibitor’s total number of screens in the Kingdom to 71 across seven multiplexes in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam. VOX Cinemas is the fastest growing exhibitor in the Middle East. In Saudi Arabia specifically, the award-winning cinema chain has opened six multiplexes across three cities in just 10 months. VOX Cinemas continues to deliver on its aggressive expansion plan to remain the exhibitor with the highest market share in every city it operates in.

At Riyadh Front, VOX Cinemas will launch Top Bun which serves flavour-packed sliders, wings and a variety of loaded fries. The food and beverage selection at Riyadh Front also includes Pizza Al Taglio, Roman-style pizza served by the square slice, and Kitchen 35, a specialty coffee and artisanal food café. A Magic Planet family entertainment centre is also integrated into the Riyadh Front location and features fun rides for all ages, a trampoline park and soft play area.
