KSA, Egypt to implement labor accords quickly

Labor Minister Mufrej Al-Haqabani, chairman of the ALO board of directors, and Egyptian Minister of Manpower Mohammed Safan explored areas of cooperation in labor and workforce fields and ways to enhance bilateral relations between the brotherly countries.
On the sidelines of ALO conference held in Cairo, both ministers gave emphasis on their endeavor to swiftly activate the memorandum of understanding on labor affairs alongside 17 agreements signed between the two countries and overseen by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
Both parties agreed to provide results very soon stemming from the MoU. The labor ministers also decided to open new avenues between the ministries of both countries, ensuring that media should play a vital role to achieve this cooperation and convey messages that spread awareness on workers' rights. Al-Haqabani asked his Egyptian counterpart to send a technical team to the Kingdom that would be tasked with reviewing the e-system for recruiting workers as well as efforts taken by the Saudi Ministry of Labor, besides exploring ways to utilize such services.
