For the second year in a row, Kooora.com, the largest sports platform in the MENA region and BC Bendoni Consulting, the global leader for the business of football, officially announced their partnership for the Globe Soccer Awards event, the annual international football gathering organized by Dubai Sports Council, for its eighth edition this December. This agreement between the two experts in their field will establish Kooora as the exclusive digital media partner for Globe Soccer Awards 2016, whereby Kooora will shed more light on Arabic football stars by introducing two new awards for Kooora Best GCC Club and Kooora Best Arabic player of the year 2016. This in addition to last year’s Kooora Best GCC player award, which highlighted the top astonishing Arabic talents across the GCC.

Last year, the game’s legends, best clubs, coaches, agents and media came together to celebrate football, and got recognized throughout 15 award categories. Internationally, Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi won the award for Best Player of 2015, among other accolades.

Saudi Arabia’s Yasir Al Shahrani was triumphed at the Globe Soccer Awards after scooping the Best GCC Player of the Year accolade. Thousands of fans voted via the digital platforms of Kooora and Globe Soccer Awards through a 2-month survey of 66 key players in MENA to acknowledge the number one player of the year.

The initial signing ceremony of the new agreement between BC Bendoni Consulting and Kooora took place during the flagship Sportel convention in Monaco last October. The anticipated international festival will take place this December 27-28 in Dubai.
