Ferrari World Abu Dhabi Brings a New Sparkle to Festival of Lights

Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is marking the famous Festival of Lights with a nine day circus-inspired celebration for its guests.

From October 20 to 28, the world’s first Ferrari-inspired theme park will be boasting colours of Diwali as it transforms into a world of enchanting stories.

A cast of international performers will be heading to Abu Dhabi, ready to astound spectators under the enchanting theme of An Elephant’s Tale.  The renowned Indian circus act will tell the story of Lali the Elephant, while taking guests on a journey that includes dazzling dance shows, palatable dishes and arts & crafts.

The entirety of the event will be an immersive experience for park guests, with a number of performance and interactive areas emerging to truly capture the atmosphere of Diwali. Actors, contortionists, and traditional dancers will be performing in the park, creating a unique blend of exhilarating adrenalin, rhythm and showmanship.

In tandem with An Elephant’s Tale, guests can enjoy the inimitable experience of Diwali in between thrilling and fun rides, including the world’s fastest rollercoaster, and world’s highest inverted loop.

“We love operating in such a multi-cultural and diverse environment, and this gives us even more enjoyment when it comes to celebrating amazing international festivals,” commented Jesse Vargas, General Manager of Ferrari World Abu Dhabi.

“This year, to celebrate the occasion of Diwali, we are immersing guests into a new world. Festival of Lights is one of those festivals that has the power to amaze and engage guests from all over the world, and its success has seen it become a recurrent celebration at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, and something we all look forward to!” he added.

As well as the high-intensity shows, there will also be plenty of activities for tiny guests, with a dedicated arts and crafts area that includes Diya Lamp painting and lantern making. Similarly, a dedicated area features the traditional Rangoli design to be completed by guests throughout the event.

For a more upbeat experience, guests are urged to catch the creative celebratory shows at the La Piazza Stage. Audiences will be treated to a handful of unique dances and performances, including the Kathak Dance, Kathakali Dance, Kuchipudi, and the Mallakhamb Pole Act.

Ferrari World Abu Dhabi will be open between 11 AM and 8 PM throughout the Festival of Lights. Tickets can be purchased online through www.ferrariworldabudhabi.com
