The Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly, which had been issued by the Royal Decree, is to begin today for the adoption of 13 bills. The Royal Decree was issued to invite the National Assembly to meet in an extraordinary session as of July 21st to adopt draft laws: Cyber ​​Security of 2019, the abolition of the Law on the Employment of Information Technology Resources in Government Institutions of 2019, amended The Social Security Law of 2019, amended the Law of Integrity and Anti-Corruption of 2019, amended the Law on Restructuring of Institutions and Government Departments of 2019, repeal of the Trades and Industries Law of 2019, amended the Jordanian Universities Law of 2019, amended the Law of Higher Education and Scientific Research of 2019, Civil disputes of 2019.
Among the draft laws are: the 2019 Civil Procedure Code, the 2019 Standards and Measures Act, the 2016 Traffic and Arms Regulations, 2016, and so far the Cabinet has approved some of these draft laws, and with the Royal Decree, the Government To approve the rest of the projects mentioned in the Royal Will.
There are three draft laws on the agenda of the Extraordinary Session of the Committees: the 2016 Traffic Law, Arms and Ammunition Act of 2016 and the abolition of the Information Technology Resource Employment Act in Government Institutions of 2018.
