Danat Al Ain Resort, in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi honors the legacy and vision of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Founding Father of the UAE through the launch of the Planting of Zayed Tree in the property.

 

On 25 November, executive and team members gathered in the resort’s courtyard to plant beautiful arrays of flowering trees in commemoration of the Year of Zayed. The initiative aims to highlight Sheikh Zayed’s lifelong commitment to sustainability and natural environment to meet the world’s greatest environmental challenges.  

 

Resort General Manager, Khaled Sharabassy said, “Danat Al Ain Resort joins the Department of Culture and Tourism and the entire country in celebrating the values of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and the impact and legacy he has left for the people of UAE. His love for environmental sustainability and creating a greener country is manifested through Al Ain, which over decades has transformed as the Garden City of the Gulf and we are more than happy to contribute to this mission going forward.”
