CITC: Virgin Mobile Saudi Arabia remains ahead of mobile providers in terms of customer satisfaction

Virgin Mobile Saudi Arabia is the telecom provider with the lowest number of customer complaints in the kingdom, a report by the Saudi Communications and Information Technology Commission has revealed. The CITC report for the first quarter of 2019 showed only one complaint against the company per every 100,000 subscribers, putting Virgin Mobile on the lead as the company with the best customer service. STC issues this quarterly report as part of its policy of transparency to encourage competition among telecom providers in the country. The report has rated Virgin Mobile as number one since the beginning of 2017, a testimony that the company continues to provide its customers with services characterized by transparency, flexibility, and effective communication and interaction.

Fouad Halawi, CEO of Virgin Mobile Saudi Arabia, commented: “The fact that we always come as the best telecom operator in Saudi Arabia in terms of customer service reflects the success of our business model, which is based on transparency, flexibility, efficient and continuous communication with our customers, and the provision of telecom services and solutions that meet their needs and aspirations.” 

He added: “The CITC report coincides with the launch of our new digital application product, which enhances the integrated digital experience we provide to our customers and enables them to instantly and flexibly change their plans and fully control their digital life.”  He thanked CITC Governor Dr​ Abdulaziz Salem Al Ruwais for CITC’s efforts, guidance, and active communication with telecom operators to ensure the best services for customers.

Launched recently, the Android- and iPhone- enabled digital mobile app allows subscribers to build their own plans, change them anytime they want, obtain their SM cards, and create or select unique numbers. It is a flexible tool allowing users to order any services they want and get them delivered within an hour. 

The lunch was part of Virgin Mobile’s effort to empower Saudi youth and enhance their educational, social, and cultural creativity at a time when the Kingdom is witnessing a digital transformation process.

On this occasion, Virgin Mobile launched a special promotion, giving subscribers a 10-gigabyte data and 500 local minutes valid for one month for only SAR70, which is half of the original price.
