Committed to reinforce its position in the plastics industry as a recognised leader in providing innovative, value creating plastics solutions, Borouge will participate as a Principal Sponsor at Arabplast 2017, the largest plastics, petrochemicals and rubber industry trade show in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, due to be held at Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre from 8-10 January 2017.

 

Borouge’s participation at Arabplast reflects the growing significance of the event as the most important plastics exhibition in the Middle East where top leading plastics producers, manufacturers and convertors from the GCC and other parts of the world meet to discuss and exchange knowledge and best practices and learn about the latest technologies used in the industry.

At Arabplast 2017, Borouge will showcase its latest polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) innovative solutions for a wide range of applications in packaging, infrastructure, energy, mobility and other economic sectors. Borouge will also highlight its expansion projects such as the Borouge 3 plant which more than doubles the Company’s total annual production capacity to 4.5 million tonnes of polyolefins, making the Borouge Ruwais site the world’s largest integrated polyolefins plant.

 

In addition to underlining the Company’s growth in production and enhancement of its marketing and logistic networks fronts, Borouge will demonstrate its developing innovation capabilities with the establishment of the world-class, hi-tech Innovation Centre in Abu Dhabi and the new state-of-the art Application Centre in Shanghai that supports Borouge’s growing customer base in China and further strengthens its ability to deliver innovative plastics compounds for automotive and non-automotive applications the region.
