Badir Program for Technology Incubators and Accelerators, one of the initiatives of King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), launched three new technical startups, which all have received logistical and consultancy support from the program, and obtained the necessary guidance for their growth and development in the local market as well its success in attracting agents and achieving the requirements of the future growth.

 

The list of new applications which was launched at a recent special celebration held at the headquarters of “Badir” Program in Riyadh included the application of “E3MAL”, which is an Arab smart phone Application  that works as a platform for remote work and connects employers with freelancers, as well as “Jibley” Application which provides a platform for the delivery of customers' requests from shops, restaurants, pharmacies and others, and finally the “Oxidane” Application, which allows easy and quick access to the providers of drinking water delivery service in the Kingdom.

 

Commenting on the launching ceremony, Nawaf Al Sahhaf, CEO of Badir Program, said: “the new start-up companies have received logistic and advisory support from Badir Program and the necessary guidance for their growth and business development in the local market.

 

He added: “the launch of these companies comes within the framework of the huge efforts exerted by King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, represented by Badir Program to present various aspects of support for Saudi innovators and entrepreneurs and provide an environment that motivates them to develop their ideas and turn them into technical projects.

 

"We are very proud of the entrepreneurs' achievements in the three new companies and are extremely pleased that the founders of these companies can prove themselves as successful startups, thanks to the hard work that they have done in developing their business over the past period and reaching this important stage of developing their projects", Al Sahhaf added.
