arabot, the regional pioneer for intelligent bots, has been named one of the 100 Arab start-ups which are shaping the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) in the MENA region. The company was selected by the World Economic Forum (WEF) and Bahrain Economic Development Board from nearly 400 applicants hailing from 17 countries across the Middle East. 

arabot was nominated as one of the WEF’s Top 100 Arab Start-ups in recognition of its role as a revolutionary and futuristic information and communications technology (ICT) company, with a vision that focuses on improving the ICT ecosystem and pioneering the use of artificial intelligence. Since its launch in 2016, arabot has become a highly-respected name in the Middle East’s ICT sector, due to its intelligent, seamlessly integrated Arabic-English bot platforms and advanced AI technology, which has seen the company collaborate with major regional organisations including Aramex, the UAE Ministry of Community Development and Jordan’s Ministry of Justice.

The organisations selected as part of the prestigious 100 Arab Start-ups program were invited to join government figures and business leaders at the World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa at the Dead Sea, Jordan on the 6thand 7thApril. Held under the patronage of Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan, the event aimed to integrate Arab entrepreneurs into a dialogue on the most pressing challenges facing the region. As one of 26 Jordanian start-ups chosen as part of the WEF programme, arabot were also invited to meet with HM King Abdullah II to receive His Majesty’s congratulations, and to discuss ways to improve the start-up ecosystem in Jordan.
