American Express Middle East has announced the introduction of Contactless Payment technology across cards issued starting from July 2019 onwards, aimed at offering the latest in convenience for all its Cardmembers. 

Using forefront technology, and continuing its pursuit of using innovation to best serve its Cardmembers at all times, Contactless Payment cards will be rolled out across all MENA markets.

Wherever Cardmembers are in the world, especially our customers who travel extensively, they will simply be able to touch their American Express Middle East card on the payment terminal and complete their transaction with a simple tap, pay and go.
