Aljomaih Automotive Company (AAC), the largest dealer  for General Motors in Saudi Arabia and  the Middle East, announced the launch of its car racing team. This announcement came after signing a contract with the drift races champion Captain Falah Aljarba, who has received recently "Camaro King" title from General Motors. Under the contract, Aljarba will coach and administrate Aljomiah Racing Team, and will participate in all drift races for this season on-board the all-new Chevrolet Camaro. 

 

Launching of Aljomaih Racing Team comes within the company's program to establish a Motorsport section for the provision of sports cars and its accessories, in addition to other related products, in its main showrooms, under the supervision of an experienced professional Saudi youth who has immense experience in sports cars and Motorsports in general.

 

Launching of such official high level racing team is an important step in terms of Saudi Arabia Motorsport, and the support to be extended to the team, which qualifies AAC to be one of the best car dealerships in presenting this wonderful Motorsport initiative in Saudi Arabia. As well as taking part in the annual Motorsport tournaments organized by the Saudi Arabian Motor Federation kingdom wide.

 

It is expected that AAC will soon have an official launching ceremony for the team, where it will unwrap the racing car design and the team's program for following season.  The team is becoming ready to participate in drift racing series, both locally and regionally. AAC, as well, will announce a range of programs related to community services to raise awareness of the importance of traffic safety, and launching a lecture series to educate young people and get them to safe driving.

 

On this occasion, Sheikh Waleed Aljomaih, Chief Operation Officer at Aljomaih Automotive Company, expressed his pleasure for the formal announcement of the team, as well as his satisfaction at having one of the most important and most experienced motor racing talent, Falah Aljarba, to lead the team. He also expressed his delight to use a Camaro to be the official vehicle of the team, which constitutes an important milestone for AAC, and an incentive for the team to make and achieve positive results.

 

He added: "We all have a team at a high level of professionalism, and we will seek to deliver an awareness message to young sports fans and audience, urging them not to expose themselves and others to road dangers."

 

Noting that Falah Aljarba is one the first drivers that laid the foundations of Drift races in Saudi Arabia, where he achieved a great reputation that earned him "Camaro King" title worldwide. He is highly experienced and one of the distinctive champions generation.

 

Commenting on this important event, Falah Aljarba, said:" I'm excited to participate in drift races under the sponsorship of AAC, and do hope that we will achieve good results."  He added: "I will work with AAC on clear strategic objectives based on the adoption of drift races in Saudi Arabia and turn them into public support, as well as to attract young people and encourage them to practice their driving passion on car racing circuits.
