Abu Dhabi Airports takes part in the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2018

Abu Dhabi Airports is participating in this year’s Arabian Travel Market as part of its strategy to enhance its airline network, and promote its VIP Terminal at Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH).

 

Abu Dhabi Airports’ participation will be in conjunction with Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture & Tourism (DCT). During the four-day show, held from 22 – 25 April in Dubai, Abu Dhabi Airports’ team is scheduled to meet with potential and current airline partners, and highlight the exclusive services available at AUH’s VIP Terminal. 

 

Confirming the company’s attendance and participation, Saoud Al Shamsi, the Acting CCO of Abu Dhabi Airports commented: “We are continuously working towards fortifying Abu Dhabi International Airport’s presence as a key airport hub within the region, by enhancing our existing network and connecting with new and wider markets globally. The Arabian Travel Market provides a comprehensive and holistic platform ideal to meet new strategic partners, which boosts the capital’s viability as a competitive hub for aviation and travel”.

 

Abu Dhabi Airports’ participation at the event aims to showcase the facilities and services provided by the VIP Terminal at Abu Dhabi International Airport, which promise an unmatched and exceptional travel experience for local and international passengers at an affordable rate.

 

“We are optimistic about the sector’s performance in the coming years that will continue to be key in our efforts to implement enhancements to our services, especially with studies predicting an 82.5% increase in outbound travel from the GCC alone, over the next 10-years (as reported by Colliers International, ATM Research Partners). It also reiterates our commitment to effectively and actively contribute to the Abu Dhabi’s Economic Vision, through the development of one of its key pillars; the aviation and aerospace industry,” Al Shamsi concluded.

 

ATM – considered by industry professionals as a barometer for the Middle East and North Africa tourism sector, welcomed over 39,000 people to its 2017 event, including 2,661 exhibiting companies, signing business deals worth more than $2.5 billion over the four days.
