APICS Announces Early Registration Deadline for APICS 2015 Dubai Conference

Today APICS, the premier professional association for supply chain and operations management, announced it will be hosting its second Middle East conference on 16-17 November 2015 at the Radisson Royal Hotel in Dubai. APICS 2015 Dubai will offer insights into how global companies known for supply chain innovation are achieving corporate competitiveness.

Supply chains extend across time zones, continents, and cultures. APICS 2015 Dubai is a unique opportunity for supply chain professionals to network, learn and master best practices, and explore research that will help them lead their organization’s supply chain initiatives.

“APICS is focused on two key challenges in supply chain today: developing supply chain talent and improving supply chain performance. One of the most effective ways we address both of these issues is through face-to-face education for our members,” said Abe Eshkenazi, CSCP, CPA, CAE, APICS CEO. “We are thrilled to be back in Dubai this year and have put together a phenomenal agenda delivering relevant education, leading practices, and networking opportunities.”

APICS 2015 Dubai will share key insights and tested strategies on critical topics, including:

Demand planning

Forecasting

Lean manufacturing

Logistics

Quality

Sales and operations planning (S&OP)

Last year’s inaugural APICS 2014 Dubai Conference included presenters such as DuPont, Kraft Foods, PwC Advisory and Unilever Gulf, and brought together attendees from around the globe, including representatives from the UAE, France, South Africa, India, Lebanon, Egypt, Pakistan, Jordan and Sri Lanka.

This year, the agenda includes presenters from GE Oil & Gas, Lehigh University, Johnson Controls, Motorola Mobility and more. APICS 2015 will also play host to representatives from companies such as Philips Healthcare, Johnson & Johnson, 3M, and EQUATE Petrochemical Co.

In addition to the wide range of educational sessions offered at APICS 2015 Dubai, conference attendees qualify for up to 16 professional development points toward the maintenance of APICS CPIM, CFPIM, or CSCP designations. Attendees who register now through 16 October, will save up to $300 on event registration.
