The Zakat & Tax Conference of the General Authority of Zakat and Tax (GAZT) of Saudi Arabia will bring together global tax and zakat practitioners community in Riyadh to discuss the latest significant changes in international tax and how such changes affect taxpayers and business environments around the world. The Conference agenda will include discussions of key tax developments taking place at national, regional and global levels, and their implications on business activities. It will also focus on zakat by providing a platform to discuss ways to overcome challenges relating to zakat calculation methods and accounting standards.
GAZT is organizing this two-day conference under the patronage of His Excellency Minister of Finance, Mohammed Al Jadaan. The conference aims to ensure that participants, whether they represent businesses or their advisors, have a clear understanding of some of the key developments driving tax changes around the world, so they can be in a better place to take the necessary steps to make their tax positions compliant with the new requirements.
The conference will be attended by commissioners and deputy commissioners from global tax authorities, senior representatives of government ministries, Saudi and non Saudi zakat and tax practitioners, accountants, finance directors, VAT specialists, academicians, regulatory authorities and many other industry professionals.
