The annual Digital Studio Awards, held at a prestigious ceremony in Dubai, has honored leading OTT service Viu with a win for Content Delivery Platform of the Year. Featured among other leading organizations, Viu was recognized for its delivery of impressive, seamless and advanced content to the market.

Since its launch in 2017, Viu has focused on content and technology that are locally relevant in the Middle East, together with fast tracked rollouts across the region. The latest Viu Originals, ‘Ana Sherry dot Com’ and ‘Doon’, featured creative regional talent right from the development of the script to its talent and production. Released earlier this year, both series’ were received with much enthusiasm among Viu’s core target audience, millennials and Gen-Z.
