Uber Eats is expanding its local footprint in Saudi Arabia, launching its delivery service across Makkah and Madinah, including major neighborhoods such as Al Shoqiyah and Al Awali in Makkah and Qurban and Sultana in Madinah. Launching in Makkah and Madinah comes after previous successful launches in other cities around the Kingdom, and as part of Uber Eats expansion strategy in the region. 

Commenting on the most recent expansions, Assad Numan, General Manager for Uber Eats in Saudi Arabia said: “Saudi Arabia is a significant component of Uber Eats story in the Middle East region, and this expansion is part of our ongoing plans to bring our technology to as many people as possible around the Kingdom.”

Uber Eats offers a wide selection of cuisines across the region, and in Saudi Arabia, it has forged partnerships with over 2,800 restaurants to ensure there is something for everyone. In Madinah, foodies will have access to both local and global favourites including Herfy, Shawaya House, KFC, and McDonald’s among others. Likewise, in Makkah food lovers can order from their favourite restaurants such as McDonald's, Shawermer, Baskin Robbins, Baytoti, and Maestro Pizza.

To celebrate these expansions, Uber Eats is offering new customers 50% off their first two orders, up to SAR 50 off per order, using the promo code “50MM”. Existing customers can receive free delivery on all orders in February. To ensure quality of service and freshness of the food delivered, Uber Eats will initially be available in select neighborhoods in Makkah and Madinah to be followed by a wider rollout across both cities.

3.    Enter your delivery location - add your home, work or any other address you’d like

4.    Browse local restaurants - search for your favorite restaurant or alternatively, sort by cuisine, price, delivery time, or dietary restrictions

5.    Check out with a tap - pay with cash or your card on file and remember to enter promo code  “50MM” for 50% off your first two orders, up to SAR 50 off each order

6.    Track your order - watch as your order gets picked up and delivered right to your door in around 30 minutes
