Al-Jabr Trading Company; Kia Motors dealerships in the Kingdom have completed preparations for the launch of the second edition of Kia Al-Jabr 3×3 Basketball Tournament in Al-Madinah during the period from 6 to 7 December 2019 in King Fahad Central Park, where the second edition of the tournament comes after distinctive success of the first tournament, which saw a wide participation of young sports lover of this game, which is widely spread in Al-Madinah compared to the other regions of the Kingdom.
The tournament was included among the amateur tournaments approved by the International Basketball Federation 3×3 and allocated a page in the official website of the International Federation to register teams and follow up the results of the tournament.
The general coordinator of the tournament, Mr. Sami Al-Maghamsi, explained that there is still an opportunity for those wishing to participate in the tournament to register via (  https://play.fiba3x3.com/ ), where each team consists of four players, pointing out that a technical meeting of the participating teams will be held on Thursday 5 December to explain the tournament system and draw lots.
For his part, Mr. Wail Baghdadi, the Chief Operating Officer, thanked Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Prince of Madinah, for his kind approval to hold the tournament for the second time in Taibah, and also thanked the secretariat (AMANAH) of Al-Madinah, the Saudi Basketball Federation and the General Authority for Sport for the continuation of the tournament in supporting and serving young lovers of this game.
He added: As we all know, the Kingdom's Vision 2030 supports increasing sports participation among the community members, and the diversity of this participation in various sports in order to reach a high proportion of sports practitioners, which will undoubtedly be reflected in raising public health in the community, and we at Al-Jabr Trading Company very concerned that part of our social responsibility should be focused to hold sporting events of various games. However, after we concluded last month the Kia Al-Jabr Tennis Championship (the Road to Australia) we are now preparing for a Basketball Tournament. Nevertheless, in early next year, the Futsal Football Tournament ( Road to the nations of Europe), taking into consideration that Kia Motors is one of the major companies supporting sports activities through its sponsorship of the world's most important sport events; such as the World Cup and European Championship and the Australian Open Tennis Championship besides the American Basketball League.
