Taking a fashion piece from inception to the store is a journey filled with meticulous planning and execution. When quality is a priority, a simple cotton T-shirt travels a long way inside the fashion supply chain before it ends up in your wardrobe. It all starts with the product design conceptualization and finding the right theme. After substantial research on the forthcoming trends in terms of colors, fabrics and silhouettes, the designer sets out a theme, which is then translated into a mood board.

 

When the products enter the sampling stage, the quality department along with the buying & sourcing teams work in collaboration to review and approve garment fitting, workmanship, construction, fabric, trims, print, embroidery and all other production details.

 

The quality department plays a crucial role in every stage of the production at Max. Its function starts with the receipt of the fabric and assessment of the quality of raw materials, and it continues throughout the cutting, fusing and sewing process.

To make the evaluation process even more precise, sometimes third-party inspections are necessary. Third party inspections are made by independent global licensed companies to ensure that all the products meets or exceeds Max quality requirements and the manufacturing process itself meets the international standards in terms of quality and environmental management.

 

Once the production samples are approved and the quality & performance tests have been passed by the third-party testing companies, the products are ready to leave the factory and to make their way to the warehouses marking the end of a fashion piece journey from conception, to factory, to our stores and then eventually finds a special spot in your closet.
