Shaza Makkah was the prestigious venue chosen for the “Discover Careers in Tourism’ awareness programme for school students that was organised by the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH), represented by the National Center for Tourism Human Resources Development (Takamul).

 

The event was attended by His Excellency Dr. Hisham Mohammed Madani, General Manager of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage in Holy Makkah, who highlighted in his speech that Shaza Makkah is one of the elites among the top hotels in Makkah.

 

“We are honoured to host this event as part of Shaza Makkah Hotel’s cooperation with the SCTH and Takamul to introduce students to the hotel profession and give them an overview of the promising career opportunities open to them in the Kingdom’s thriving hospitality industry,” said Shaza Makkah General Manager, Sherief Abulmaged. 

 

“A key objective of the programme is to motivate the students to acquire skills and experience in the tourism sector in order to contribute to achieving the objectives of the National Transformation Program emanating from the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and the development of specialized national human resources,” he added.

 

In recognition of Shaza Makkah’s hosting the awareness programme, HE Dr. Madani presented the hotel with a plaque of appreciation and distributed certificates to the hotel’s managers who supported the event with their personal experiences.
