Saudi Contractor Authority certified by Great Place to Work®

Great Place to Work® honored the Saudi Contractors Authority after recently selecting its workplace as one of the best workplaces in Saudi Arabia in 2019. Since its inception nearly 30 years ago, Great Place to Work® has advised organizations to lay foundations for a distinctive workplace based on employees trust and appreciation. As an international standard, the global authority publishes an annual list of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia best workplaces, while providing organizations a unique opportunity to assess their needs and promote a positive and attractive workplace.

 

The selection of the Saudi Contractors Authority as a Great place to Work® reflects its efforts and interest in the continuous development of all aspects related to the workplace culture, and achieve its goals to reach the highest levels of productivity and quality while promoting creativity and innovation through the vigor of its employees, which is a key element to build the future with trust.

 

Following the certification, the Governor of Saudi contractors Authority, Eng. Thabet Al-Sawyeed, commended the successes of the Commission despite its recent establishment and the challenges it is facing with determination to support the Kingdom directions and Vision 2030. He also thanked Great Place to Work® for their efforts in the evaluation process and their developing observations; Accordingly, the Commission will work on its development in the coming period.

 

Michael Burchell, CEO, Great Place to Work® Middle East congratulated the Saudi Contractor Authority on this important achievement and said: “It is not easy to build a high trust workplace, which is important for all employees in the Kingdom and we are very proud of all the efforts done by all parties in the Authority to evolve the work culture and empowering employees as well as accelerating performance, to reach their full potential.”

 

It is noteworthy that the Saudi Contractors Authority was established through the Council of Ministers Resolution No. 510 dated 23/11/1436 AH with the aim of regulating and developing the contracting sector to contribute to the development of the Kingdom. The Authority seeks to achieve its objectives through the permanent development of all aspects related to the workplace culture to reach the highest levels of productivity and quality while building distinctive competencies and create a safe environment of international quality.
