Media Rotana Dubai has worked in partnership with Nashama UAE volunteering team to bring together a charity Iftar, hosted at their venue, to commemorate the holy month of Ramadan.

 

“Ramadan is a month for giving and uniting as a community. It is also a time to think of others and we were so blessed to share this Iftar with all those hardworking guests. We consider this as a start and we have a plan to implement new charitable events on regular basis” said Sherif Madkour, General Manager at Media Rotana.

 

Nashama UAE was established in 2009, and it focuses on social, cultural and humanitarian initiatives that serve the community and enhance the UAE culture, improve the youth skills and take the UAE volunteering work worldwide. Nashama gives a helping hand to expatriates of all nationalities, to show them love and care being all away from their home and families. Its goal is to show them a sign of appreciation to let them know their work is not gone unnoticed.

 

The Iftar was held on Wednesday, the 13th of June at Media Rotana.The gathering was full of joy and warmth with attendees feeling grateful and touched by human thoughtfulness and were extremely happy with their Ramadan gifts.
