Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors BMW Group’s second biggest market in the Middle East in 2014

Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors has achieved another stellar annual sales performance with 4,239 BMW and MINI vehicles sold to customers in 2014, representing 14% of the Group’s total sales in the Middle East making Saudi Arabia the second biggest market in the region after the UAE.

In a fiercely competitive market where discerning customers seek the very best in motoring, 2014 was a significant year for the BMW Group importer; not only was BMW the leading premium brand in the Kingdom, with Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors selling more vehicles than any other premium automotive manufacturer, but Saudi Arabia was also BMW Group’s biggest market for BMW 7 Series sales in the Middle East.

Stavros Paraskevaides, Managing Director of Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors, said: “These are encouraging signs for us coming into 2015, with an impressive year that has seen a number of achievements; BMW was the number one premium automotive brand in the Kingdom and we remained one of the BMW Group’s top-selling markets. These accomplishments are a direct result of a desirable product portfolio and our commitment to customer service at every step of the purchase and ownership experience.”

The epitome of luxury, elegance and innovation, all qualities appreciated and desired by discerning customers in the Kingdom, the flagship BMW 7 Series was the main contributor to Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors’ performance, accounting for 40% of its total sales. The X family also played a significant role, representing 17.5%. The recent addition of the all-new BMW X6 is expected to further enforce the exceptional growth of the X models into 2015, enjoying a special status among rivals thanks to its irresistible allure, dynamic performance and innovative luxury.

Across the Middle East region, the success was echoed with BMW Group Middle East selling more vehicles in 2014 than ever before in the company's history. 30,148 BMW and MINI vehicles were sold across 12 countries, an increase of 23% from the previous record year.
