During the 2020 Middle East Car of the Year (MECOTY) Awards, which are the biggest and most coveted awards in the regional automotive industry, MG brand achieved tremendous success by winning 3 awards in total, the most coveted of which is the “Car of the Year” award for its HS model, which also received the “Sub-Compact Crossover” award. Additionally, MG5 model won the “Sub-Compact Sedan” award.  These awards represent an objective testament to MG’s excellent lineup of vehicles and strong global presence, and reinforce the company’s competitive stance in the Saudi market.   MECOTY Awards’ board of referees includes 13 independent and highly experienced automotive journalists in the Middle East, who employ a complex yet transparent nomination and scoring methodology, and rely on stringent and carefully laid out criteria for choosing the winners.

 

In that occasion, Eng.
