Max Fashion continues to drive its great value offering in KSA

Max Fashion, the region’s leading value-fashion retailer and part of the Landmark Group, remains a key driver in delivering a wide variety of retail offerings in Saudi Arabia at great prices, despite the recent introduction of 15% value-added tax (VAT) across the country that began on 1 July 2020.

The demand for value fashion is expected to surge in KSA following the VAT increase and impact on salaries due to COVID-19. Max Fashion’s offering and approach to retail enables customers to keep up with the latest trends without breaking the bank. The stores offer the latest styles in women's, men's and children's fashions including footwear and accessories, as well as beauty and homeware.

Kabir Lumba, CEO of Max Fashion and Group Director at Landmark Group, said: “We are driven to maintain our position as the leading value-fashion retailer locally and regionally by offering excellent goods at great prices. We are proud to be part of KSA’s diverse retail portfolio and we will continue to deliver great value for both loyal and new customers.”

Max Fashion has continued to grow in popularity following widespread expansion year-on-year, firmly establishing itself as the number one fashion retailer in Saudi Arabia. Between 85-90% of consumers are locals, for whom the ease and convenience aspects are emphasized with more than 120 stores situated in over 40 cities across the country.

With a friendly shopping experience, Max continues to deliver more fashion and increasingly higher value for customers new and old.  Its move to expand within Saudi Arabia is in contrast with moves made by other retailers faced with battling tough economic conditions brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
