HE Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, the UAE Minister of Education take part in ‘Hamdan Global Forum for Excellence 2022’

Wide array of educational experts participated in the forum running from 15 to 17 November

 

Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Distinguished Academic Performance organized ‘Hamdan Global Forum for Excellence 2022’ with the attendance of HE Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, the Minister of Education in the UAE. The Forum was inaugurated on Tuesday, November 15, and ran through Thursday, November 17.

 

The Forum aimed to involve students from various educational levels, groups from society, and people who are interested in education in a number of sessions and workshops to help them in learning new information and enhancing their skills, as well as to familiarize them with the most recent international techniques used to progress the field of education and keep up with contemporary advancements. 

 

“We are pleased to welcome you to ‘Hamdan Global Forum for Excellence 2022’, which is being organized by Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Distinguished Academic Performance with the participation of a group of experts and professionals to endorse the foundation's initiatives and enhance its positive impact in improving and developing educational performance,” said Dr. Jamal Al Muhairi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Secretary-General of the Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Distinguished Academic Performance.

 

Dr. Al Muhairi added: “Opportunities for empowerment, growth, and leadership are a result of education quality. By adopting this approach, our wise leadership has given educational excellence top priority and moved forward to make the best possible investment in human resources and equip them to meet the current and future challenges.”

 

Dr. Al Muhairi continued to say: “We, at the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Distinguished Academic Performance, started turning the late Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum's honorable initiative to incept this institution 25 years ago into centered projects and initiatives to advance the educational sector and society. And to further demonstrate that educational excellence is a worldwide cause and one of the most pressing needs in our future vision, we formed partnerships with renowned international organizations.” 

 

“This Forum stems from the vision of Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Distinguished Academic Performance, which is represented in effective contributions to improving educational performance, qualitative upgrading of integral parts of education, and spreading a culture of excellence by combining positive efforts and partnerships at the local, regional, and international levels. Through a series of sessions and lectures, we support our efforts to improve the intellectual and skill outcomes of the society,” added Dr. Al Muhairi. 

 

Dr. Al Muhairi added: “Following a number of insightful sessions in the previous few days that covered a variety of significant subjects, we are honored by the attendance of HE Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, the UAE’s Minister of Education, today for a session entitled, “Future of Teachers”, one of the topics that has received a lot of attention in the educational community. The session focused on forecasting the futuristic role of artificial intelligence in education.” 

 

Research and studies have shown that there is a strong correlation between teacher quality, which is attained through adequate selection, training, and development, and the quality of education. As a result, Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Distinguished Academic Performance places a high priority on hosting forums and workshops with the goal of fostering innovation among teachers, enabling them to share experiences and knowledge, and equipping them with the necessary skills and the most recent advancements in technology.

 

The Forum also covered other significant themes, such as the level preparedness for all new trends in education, the prospects and difficulties of educational quality, and other concerns affecting the development of education.

 

The Forum attracted a large number of professionals and specialists in the field of education. HE Dr. Ahmed Belhoul Al Falasi, delivered a keynote address during the final day's session on ‘The Future of Education’.

 

 As the Forum’s activities proceeded, Dr. Abd Al Rahman Al Mudayris, Director General of the Regional Center for Quality and Excellence in Education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, spoke in one of the important sessions entitled: “How to prepare for the future of high-quality education”.  Mr. Carlos Vargas Tamez, Chief of Section of Teacher Development at UNESCO, France, also took part in a session entitled, "The Future of Teachers in the World". After discussing the quality of education, Dr. Khaled Al Munif, Former Head of the Training Center in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, talked at a crucial session on the positive contribution of the educational institutions. 

 

In order to transfer cutting-edge experiences and advance the educational system, these sessions aimed to shed light on the most recent advancements in the field of education around the globe. The forum aimed at helping educators and educational experts to prepare for a variety of changes and upcoming challenges as far as education is concerned.
