Dulsco opens new Processing Center in Ras Al Khaimah by appointing a team of 30 female Emiratis

In cooperation with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE), and in line with its strategic direction of investing in national talent, Dulsco, the UAE's leading integrated solutions provider, inaugurated its new Processing Center in Ras Al Khaimah in the presence of Her Excellency Mona Waleed, Acting Undersecretary of Emiratisation Affairs at MOHRE. The Dulsco Processing Center will be managed by an integrated team comprising 30 female Emiratis, bringing the overall number of Emiratis working in the company to 48. 

The recruitment of female Emirati talents to manage the Dulsco Processing Center in Ras Al Khaimah reflects its commitment to supporting Emiratisation and to empower female talents. The Center reflects the competencies of female Emirati talents to manage its operations and services that will further contribute to Dulsco’s goal of promoting sustainability and improving the quality of life in the UAE.

To celebrate the opening, Dulsco hosted a special event attended by Her Excellency Mona Waleed, David Stockton, CEO of Dulsco, and the company’s senior leadership team.  The Center marks Dulsco’s focus on expanding its services to all emirates as well as providing human resources and people solutions to the logistics sector in addition to facilitating waste management, recycling, and other integrated environmental solutions.

Commenting on the opening, Her Excellency Mona Waleed said that the UAE demonstrates a great model of public-private partnership, which has contributed to many tangible achievements. She said that the private sector, and national companies in particular, are major partners in the overall development of the UAE and contribute significantly to Emiratisation.

Her Excellency added: “Qualified UAE cadres, especially women, stand out for their hard work and dedication, and contribute to the advancement of all services and activities. Dulsco’s initiative in investing in female nationals is a demonstration of the role that national companies play in advancing overall development and in investing in people, the primary asset of any nation.”

David Stockton highlighted the company's constant endeavors to enhance the quality of services and strengthen its presence across the UAE, “By investing in national human resources, we are drawing on their distinct capabilities and knowledge of the needs of their local communities. Hiring the female Emirati team underlines our commitment to contribute to the UAE’s vision, particularly in promoting Emiratisation.” Stockton added that Dulsco has made great strides in Emiratisation and will continue to focus on hiring more qualified Emiratis.

Dulsco continues to build the skills of its Emirati talents through training sessions, mentoring, Individual development plans, a clearly defined career path and education support. Dulsco is a member of MOHRE’s Tawteen since 2018 and has been upgraded to Gold membership in 2019 in recognition of its efforts to drive Emiratisation. Dulsco has also been awarded by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation in 2018 and 2019 for its Emiratisation Accelerations program.
