Bab Al Qasr Hotel played host to the semi-final judging round of the 45th International Emmy Awards last 9th September, 2017. The event aims to determine the second round of nominees who will proceed to the final judging process for the Best Performance by an Actor in the Latin America category.

 

Held together with The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and Pyramedia, the one-day event showcased masterpieces of producers from all over the world in an exclusive screening at the five-star hotel, followed by a press conference. Present during the screening are selected jurors composed of the Middle East’s leading media and entertainment figures, namely academy members Abdallah Bin Haidar, Habib Gholoom, Abed Fahd, Mayssa Maghrebi, Saba Mubarak, Dima Al Jundi, Arwa Gouda, Hazem Samir, Sara Abi Kanaan, Asser Yasine, Elham Chahine and Qays Sheikh Najib. Each entry were assessed and graded based on a set of categories provided by The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

 

Bab Al Qasr Hotel, the official hotel partner for the event, treated the jurors to a relaxing night stay where they enjoyed deluxe room offerings, scrumptious gastronomies and picturesque recreational facilities.

The International Emmy Awards is a distinguished awards ceremony by the International Academy of Television Arts and Science which recognizes the best television programmes produced worldwide.
