Saudi Arabian Armed Forces and Royal Saudi Air Force is taking part in the first annual Saudi Aviation Training Exhibition and Conference (SATCE), held in Jeddah on 18-19th of March 2015 at Jeddah Hilton Hotel, organized by Arabian SAS Company.

This event is featuring over 50 Saudi and international aviation universities & academies specialized in offering aviation education in aeronautical, engineering, technical, maintenance, management, audit, pilot, air traffic control, airport operations, ground handling, marketing, safety & security, cabin crew, airlines, aircraft manufacturers, aviation education aid manufacturers and other supporting industries. The trade visitors students are allowed to visit the exhibition for free during the event days.

Mr. Sulaiman Bin Abdul Aziz Al Hamdan, the CEO of Arabian SAS told that: “Saudi aviation industry is growing on a rapid phase and the Saudi Airports are handling over 70 million passengers every year and the numbers will grow more in the future, thanks to the ongoing airport expansions, construction of the new airports and the increasing aircraft numbers in the Saudi based airlines.

“The Aviation Industry is an important global sector and it is expanding rapidly in Saudi Arabia and in its neighboring countries. As the aviation Industry touches everyone’s life and as it requires high level of effectiveness and efficiency, we are determined to bring the global aviation training technologies in to Saudi Arabia, which will aid the airlines, airports, training academies and the Saudi national students those are our future assets who will be joining the national aviation industry and with Armed Forces to serve the nation”.

He also added that: “In view to the recent civilian aviation training industry forecast report, the GCC region may need over 55,000 pilots, 62,000 technical professionals by 2032, which will support over 1,000,000 jobs in the region’s travel industry and will require more air force personnel to strengthen the ongoing ambitious modernization program. In view to fulfill the acute shortage of the aviation professionals in the region, I firmly believe that this event will provide the national and foreign participants an opportunity to meet the Saudi national students and to take part in their progress to educate them to become aviation professionals and to the training equipment manufacturers and service providers to meet the potential companies to market their products and services.

We are honoured to receive the support of the prestigious Saudi Arabian Armed Forces, Saudi Royal Air Force and Saudi National Guards towards this event and we firmly believe that the presence of Prince Sultan Aviation Academy, Prince Sultan University, Boeing, BAE Systems, Alehtiraf, Alpha Star,  Nexus, Abu Dhabi Polytechnic, Avico, CAE, L-3 Communications and other companies will add more value to this event and will provide one stop solution to the aviation companies in the region to source for their much required various training requirements to support their growth, participating aviation professionals to enhance their skills and to the attending students about various aviation industry related courses and to know the participating academies capacities and capabilities to pursue their aviation education.
