Aqaba Container Terminal is a model for public-private partnership

 

Aqaba Port Authority CEO Stephen Yogalingham  stressed the importance of the port which serves the Levant region and the surrounding area as the most distinguished waterfront and regional hub for the multimodal transportation sector. It has the infrastructure to support the Jordanian export and import industry and the Iraqi and Syrian import markets. Has grown considerably when the reconstruction process begins.

                                        

Yogalingham said that Aqaba Container Terminal is Iraq's preferred gateway to the Red Sea before conflicts in Syria and Iraq affect the region.
