From family brunches and kids’ play area, to glamorous dinner shows and special stay packages – the iconic Queen Elizabeth 2 will host a spectacular array of events to celebrate the Eid weekend

 

The Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2) will host an exciting weekend of activities for Passengers of all ages on board the historical vessel this Eid.

 

 

 

From brunches and a kids’ park, to evening shows and value room packages – not forgetting the much-awaited football games – residents of the UAE and tourists alike can step on board and create everlasting memories.

 

Family Funfair Feast

 

The hotel’s newest restaurant, The Lido – located on the Quarter Deck, will transform into a gastronomic extravaganza, offering an array of delicious goodies worthy of a spectacular funfair. A live band will entertain the adults, whilst a fully interactive play area will keep the little ones busy.

 

The kids’ fair will feature an action-packed programme of exciting activities including an Under The Sea dance show, a nerf obstacle course, a bouncy castle, face painting, a magician, interactive games and shows and plenty more – brought to you by leading kids entertainment company – The Cheeky Monkeys.

 

The expansive buffet takes patrons on a culinary tour around the world – with a heavy focus on the QE2’s British roots. Expect everything from succulent roasts, fresh seafood and sushi and Asian delicacies, to Italian specialties, Indian favourites and international live stations. Not forgetting all of the fairground treats including hotdogs, fish and chips, toffee apples, candy floss and much more.

 

The brunch will take place on Friday, 15 June and Saturday, 16 June from 1pm-4pm.

 

The brunch costs AED 99 for children below 12; AED 250 for soft beverages; AED 375 for house beverages and bubbles and AED495 for premium beverages. Children below 4 and nannies accompanying two children or more dine with compliments.

 

The fully supervised play area is suitable for ages 3-12 and is open from 1pm-7pm.

 

From 4pm on the Upper Deck, the Yacht Club comes alive for the ultimate after brunch party with a DJ playing until late and special drinks package offering two selected beverages for the price of one until 9pm.

 

Razzle And Dazzle Dinner Show

 

Those looking for a sophisticated evening out, the Grand Lounge will transform into a glitzy speakeasy and host a glamorous dinner show with live singers and dancers.

 

Britain’s Got Talent’s ‘Jack Pack’ will dazzle the audience with a tribute line-up of all the classics of Frank Sinatra, Sammy David Jr. and company, whilst a troupe of beautiful dancers will dazzle in a series of show-stopping Charleston performances.

 

The show will take place on Friday, 15 June and Saturday, 16 June 2018. The package includes entry, dinner and free-flowing beverages and bubbles from 9pm until 12am and is priced at AED 495 per person (including soft beverages and house beverages) and AED 395 (including soft beverages). Diners can head to The Yacht Club early and enjoy the pre-show happy hour from 4pm-9pm (two beverages for the price of one)

 

For those looking to take their QE2 experience further, a special stay package includes dinner, house beverages, the show and a night’s stay with breakfast for AED1,500 – including an upgrade to a Superior Room.

 

Half Board, Full Board Or ‘On Board’ Packages

 

In addition to the day time brunches and evening shows, Passengers can spend the night on board with a selection of special Eid packages.

 

In addition to complimentary access to Laguna Water Park at La Mer for two people with shuttle bus service, Passangers can enjoy breakfast, brunch (inclusive of soft beverages) and / or dinner on board the QE2.

 

Half board is priced at AED 888 and full board at AED 999 (excluding taxes and tourism dirham)

 

Children up to the age of 6 stay and eat for free. Supplementary charges for children 7 and above.
