Amazon.ae customers can now shop using the Amazon gift card, available from Amazon.ae as well as across more than 2,000 locations in the UAE. Shoppers can buy the Amazon.ae gift cards by logging onto amazon.ae and going to ‘Gift Cards’ from the home page. The gift cards will also be available in over 2,000 locations such as hypermarkets and gas stations across the UAE.  

Commenting on the launch of the gift card, Ronaldo Mouchawar, Vice President of Amazon MENA said: “We’re excited to bring gift cards to Amazon.ae as an additional payment method for customers in the UAE to empower them with a variety of payment options that cater to their needs. Besides the obvious benefit of being used as a gift on occasions such as Birthdays, Eid or Christmas, the Amazon gift card is a convenient payment method for customers who don’t own credit or debit cards. Shoppers can now order millions of products available on Amazon.ae and choose to either pay via the gift card, credit card or cash on delivery.”

 

Once customers have purchased the online e-cards from Amazon.ae, they are able to email them to their loved ones with a personalized message and image of their choice. The e-gift card is available in amounts up to AED 6,000. 

The physical gift cards are also available in several denominations varying from AED 50 up to AED 1500 and can be found across UAE in many convenient locations including NT Payment and Upay kiosks, along with popular hypermarket chains including Carrefour, Zoom, Aswaaq and electronic stores such as Sharaf DG.
