Acer Middle East’s Swift Portfolio Now Lighter, Sleeker and More Powerful Than Ever

Acer’s ultra-slim line-up of notebooks gets an upgrage with the launch of Swift 5 and Swift 3 in the Middle East

Acer Middle East has announced the launch of the latest Swift 5 and Swift 3 notebook models packed with Intel® Tigerlake 11th Gen processors and Iris® Xe graphics.

Swift 5: Premium Portability

Combining a slick, modern design with the very latest and highest performance technology on the market, the Acer Swift 5 (SF514-55) is a light, thin and powerful notebook designed with today’s tech savvy customer in mind. With its Intel® Tigerlake 11th Gen processor and Nvidia MX350 graphics card, the Swift 5 has the capacity to seamlessly run several applications at once. Round the clock productivity is delivered thanks to an impressive 17 hours of battery life.[1]

The Swift 5’s eye-catching capabilities are perfectly complemented by its sleek look and high-quality feel. Produced using premium magnesium-lithium and magnesium-aluminum, it is both tough and also super lightweight, weighing in at only 1kg (2.29 lbs). Another notable design addition means the Swift 5 can be elevated by a uniquely designed hinge when its screen is opened – this multipurpose feature helps to deliver improved thermal performance, keeps the user’s focus on the 14-inch Full HD display and also improves ergonomics while typing.

With a 340-nit brightness rating and covering 100% of the sRGB color gamut, the Swift 5’s display is bordered by hyper-narrow bezels on all sides; the end result is a 90% screen-to-body ratio that allows for immersive viewing and a more compact form factor.

A layer of Antimicrobial Corning® Gorilla® Glasscovering the touchscreen prevents the development of unwanted odors or stains, while Swift 5 users can add as an optional extra an advanced antimicrobial solution across the entire device.

Swift 3: Affordable Performance

With its powerful 11th Gen Intel Core i5 processor, lighter weight and sleek new design, including a reduction in bezel size to give users more to view, the new Acer Swift 3 strikes the perfect balance of mobility, performance and style.

Slender and chic thanks to its aluminum chassis and magnesium-aluminum palm rest, the Acer Swift 3 (SF314-59) is attractive to look at, comfortable to hold and easy to operate.

It’s neat and compact frame is enhanced by bezels that measure just 0.22-inch, which in turn boosts the screen to body ratio to an impressive 82.73 percent, which helps to maintain the user’s focus on the vibrant images presented on the Full HD14-inch screen display.

Small, light and easily portable the Swift 3 weighs just 1.3kg (2.65 lbs) and is 15.95 mm (0.63 inch) thin, giving it the ideal proportions for a briefcase, laptop or office bag.

Users typing on the Swift 3’s backlit keyboard will have the device’s fast and reliable SSD storage of up to 512GB of LPDDR4X memory at their fingertips, while the Windows Hello application is accessible via a fingerprint reader to grant quick, easy and completely secure access.
