At a huge ceremony, Taajeer Group, the exclusive dealer for FAW cars in Saudi Arabia, announced the opening of FAW cars new showroom in Jeddah, as well as launched FAW cars all-new sports SUV models “X40” and “T77”. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Saleh Malaikah, Chairman of Taajeer Group, and a group of FAW International Company executives led by Mr. Xu Haiguang, Senior Director of FAW International Company, as well as the press. 

In his speech at the ceremony, Dr. Saleh Malaikah, Chairman of Taajeer Group, said:” The high levels of innovation and development achieved by the Chinese carmaker are unprecedented both regionally and globally.  We here at Taajeer Group strongly keep pace with this evolution to meet the satisfaction of our clients, as well as to maintain and enhance our good relationship with our partners, FAW Car Company Limited”.  

He added: “We will utilize our vast expertise, long experience, service facilities and skilled manpower to ensure the strong presence of FAW cars in the Saudi market”.

FAW car model “X40” enjoys strong demand both locally and globally, in view of being SUV car with stylish design, and features advanced safety measures, comfortable driver and spacious interior. 

The car enjoys seamless lines which don’t conflict with the spaciousness of the car, but enhances it through large front with the wide grille and both large headlights on both sides that come into harmony with the wheel arches.

The car sidelines follow the same sleek style down to the roof, which curve slightly towards the back to enhance stability. The trunk is easily accessible and features up to 1370 L when folding the back of the rear seats.

FAW X40 model also has an elegant interior design, where the cabin is carefully arranged to maintain the required space for the comfort of five passengers along with offering highest levels of luxury and safety, 

X40 is equipped with a German tech economic 4-cylinder 1.6L engine produces up to 114 horsepower and features Engine Start Idle & Stop System technology, which help in saving nearly 20% of fuel consumption in times of congestion. The car consumes an average 6.5 liters of fuel per 100 km.

Noting that FAW car mode X40 holds “5 stars” rating at C-NCAP, thanks a bundle of safety systems which include four airbags, steel rods to protect the driver and passengers, ABS, EBD and TSC systems, as well as ESP and car anti-theft system “Immobilizer”.

During the ceremony, FAW car model “T77”, which will arrive the Saudi market soon, was unveiled, and the attendees were briefed on the various features and trims of this all-new car.
